The sun is shining brightly, providing us with warmth
     Emitting rays of countless hope and streaming light
     I clearly see all the shapely curves this road offers
     Diligently moving the looming mountain before night

     Another day has come and gone, filled with pleasures
     Friendliness shared with warm smiles that were given
     If incidental mistakes were made along the way
     There is still peace in knowing I have been forgiven

     Morning arrives as I'm being awakened to a new day
     Swiftly shilling to my buckled knees in solemn prayer
     New challenges, with a fresh attitude, will be confronted
     Trusting in the guidance of my God, I will not despair

     Suddenly black thunder clouds bully their way along
     Powerfully overtaking the tranquility of the clear skies
     The tremendous wind forcefully brings climate change
     My mind senses some trouble through the vision of eyes

     My trembling body now wet from perspiration and rain
     I have patiently survived, walking amidst another storm
     How easily uncontrollable fear disillusioned my reasoning
     While under threatening circumstances, perceptions conform

     Life brings us much the same season of constant change
     When troubles present themselves in a conceiving way
     Troublesome burdens weigh so heavy upon our shoulders
     Lacking self confidence, we are easily overtaken by disarray

     For one moment we stand tall with strength and courage
     Towering over everyday situations, prepared to do battle
     Sudden trouble overtakes us in a fierce and mighty storm
     The windows of perceived reality soon shake and rattle

     Each new day troubling doubt is replaced with grains of hope
     Darkened situations, from storms of life will always pass
     Pay no attention to the scary weather conditions on radar
     Prevent self righteous attitudes of predicting the forecasts

     Meteorologists continually speculate the obscure conditions
     Of which God is the one doing the awesome creating
     Be anxious for nothing using sound judgment for cover
     Blessings will arrive if we don't become impatient with waiting
