Blood For A Friendship
I look around only to see closed hearts and minds
Past hurt in relationships where love was to begin A love now lost, bringing on the feeling of rejection Bricks strategically placed, building walls within
Fear will now certainly prevail over us in situations
When two people come together and a flame is lit There are no heroes when challenged with this battle As an exclusive romance brings, security tightly knit
The question is not whether past baggage may exist
But just how heavy the burden of hurt is to carry Honest communication with two caring individuals Lightens the load of that which you prefer to bury
I hear so often how some will never love again
A closed mind to what their future may actually hold One can not predict when or if real love will come Feelings of sensitivity turning to warmth from cold
Many go through this world searching high and low
Lacking confidence that it shall find the way to them Nearby a friend stands concerned for our well being Someone to share our deepest thoughts that may stem
Do we neglect the one person who sincerely loves us
Pushing Him away while showering all the blame Afraid to open up our tender broken hearts so freely Making accusations without understanding His name
Even through this, His unconditional love remains
Always reaching out with His saving hand to hold Father disciplines within the worldly mistakes made I know He will always rescue me from the bitter cold
I know that a narrow mind can prohibit realization
As a million thoughts race to form being hypocritical Perhaps consideration to the beginning of your time When conception was a blessed creation to be analytical
Father willfully created you in His perfect image with love
Then sent His only Begotten Son Jesus purposely to die Blood dripping from a wooden cross for your freedom Have you ever searched the Bible for the reason why
Jesus has always loved you, regardless of recognized shame
To trust in His name is not something this world taught Faith hope and love always remains within your heart I pray that you give this relationship, your sincere thought
