My Vision For Ministry

Eventually life gives all of us good & bad. Personally speaking, I have been blessed to experience tremendous pain. I have watched on as the Lord has consistently used all of my past hurts to deepen & strengthen my faith and trust in Him.

I believe that at some point in our lives we have a natural tendency to play the role of "victim". So far in my journey I have been a burn victim; a victim of spousal abuse; a victim of divorce; and a victim of abandonment and continual rejection.

I did not choose to become a victim nor do I desire to remain one. By the blood of Jesus and the almighty healing power of God, I have gained the victory. I enjoy sharing my testimony of the battles that I've been a part of and have overcome through Jesus.

"No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven" (Phillipians 3:13-14 NLT)

God is so good! His mercy and faithfulness to you & I are continually renewed every single day. Through all my struggles and choices, I realize that I don't have to receive everything my flesh, Satan, or other people, try to put on me.

If you have become a child of God, if Jesus is your personal Savior, than neither do you. He will work all things together for good.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28-29 NKJV)

The Lord allows pain and difficulities into our lives not to crush us, but to develop us. These times of adversity have a way of building our character and strengthening our faith. It can be likened to the magificence of a soaring eagle. Unlike other birds, who upon the onset of a storm run and hide, the eagle takes his flight into the storm. They use the intensity of the winds to lift them higher. In turn, the storm actually helps to propel the eagle in rising above it, where skies are calm, allowing the eagle to soar in freedom away from the storm. But he had to go through,

"Lord, if it's You," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," He said. Than Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," He said, "Why did you doubt?" (Matthew 14:28-30 NIV)

It's easy to stay where I'm comfortable & secure. It takes even more faith to step out of the boat and walk on water. Here I am, with my focus on the Lord, stepping out of the small dinky boat and into a ministry that has large opportunities. I enjoy using the singing ability my Lord has blessed me with to glorify Him, to lift up other people, and to provide this world with a Hope, as so many are hopeless.

What is on my heart for this ministry? In this ministry, may the Lord use me to offer you encouragement. I sincerely believe that an individual is never more Christlike than when displaying compassion for those who are rejected,in need, discouraged, alone, and difficult to love. How do I know this? Because I sometimes find myself rejected,in need, discouraged, alone and unloveable. I know first hand that when I am feeling these things and someone stops and is attentive to me, they reveal Jesus love through themselves to me. You see, when we are imitators of Him - we can truly say that the love of Christ is in us. I pray that Jesus love is evident in me. Although many times I believe that I have not shown it consistantly like I should.

My vision is to reach people for Christ, in whatever way God grants me the wisdom to do so.
My cry to Him is as displayed in this clip:

If you feel isolated and alone and simply need someone to talk to, I offer my hand of friendship to you. Whatever you believe your need is - know that Jesus is there. And if I can be an extension of His hand to anyone in need, please feel free to contact me. I sincerely care about you.
Always remember this:

Jesus loves you so much
that He stretched out His arms and died
and He did it

JUST FOR YOU!
