I have been trying to do my best to stick by his side. He often bring up the fact that his mother, who passed 3 years ago and father, who passed when he was about 13, are dead. I try to put myself in his shoes, not having parents, but his father died from kidney failure as a result of doing drugs. I often pray for him before I think about the things that I would like for God to help me with. I have been trying to get him some help but he seems like he does not want it. Everyone tells me to give up on him.

I have had a bad experience from just giving up on someone. My first love to be exact, I gave up on him and the down part of our relationship was not as severe as my current one with Steve. My first love was killed and I feel if I had not given up on him he would still be.

I really need his support at this emotional time in my life but he has been unable to due to dilema. I have really been depressed in this situation, I really need Gods guidance.

I have been praying almost everyday for God to help Steve to give up the drugs and the negative people that he chooses to surround himself with. I also pray that God would show him that he exists in his life.
